Dear _________________:
      Landlord's Name

I would like to clarify the requirement for giving proper
notice before entering my apartment. According to 5321.04 of the
Ohio Revised Code, a landlord must give the tenant at least 24
hours notice, unless it is an emergency, before entering a
tenant's unit and enter only at reasonable times.

The law provides that if the landlord enters in violation
of this provision, makes a lawful entry in an unreasonable
manner, or makes repeated demands for entry whch have the effect
of harrassing the tenant, then the tenant may recover actual
damages and obtain injunctive relief, as well as attorney's fees
and court costs, and terminate the rental agreement.

I will be pleased to arrange with you, or any of your
staff or employees, times for entry into my unit. Please feel
free to contact me to set up such appointments. I hope that you
will abide by this request and that we can establish a more
effective working relationship.

                         Sincerely,

                         ______________________
